Oktoberfest BBQ Sauce


1 tbsp olive oil

1/3 cup chopped onion

2 tbsp garlic

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

2 cups ketchup

2 tbsp honey Dijon mustard

1 tbsp molasses

1 tbsp brown sugar

Salt and Pepper to taste

1/3 tsp hot sauce

1 cup Oktoberfest Beer


  1. Heat saucepan to medium. Add olive oil, onions, and garlic; cook until onions soften

  2. Add Worcestershire, Dijon, molasses, brown sugar, salt, pepper, hot sauce, and ketchup. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes uncovered

  3. Add beer after the 30 minutes, simmer for 5 more

  4. Add sauce to ribs, or other BBQ. Serve with ribs or other BBQ.
