Grilled Surf and Turf


  • 1/2 stick butter

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 1 tbsp chives

  • 2 large garlic cloves

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • 2 New York strip steaks

  • ½ lb. bag of Shrimp


  1. Stir the butter, olive oil, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and chives together.

  2. Spread 1 tablespoon seasoned butter over each side of each steak and over each lobster half. Let stand at room temperature 1 hour.

  3. Add shrimp to the remainder of the butter.

  4. Wrap butter shrimp in bacon, then season with salt and pepper.

  5. Preheat grill to 400 degrees.

  6. Grill steaks about 4 minutes per side or until cook how you prefer.

  7. Grill shrimp on foil to limit flare ups, grill about 3 minutes a side or until bacon is crispy.

  8. Let steaks rest for about 10 minutes.

  9. Serve and enjoy!
